Co-authorship with Community Partners as Research Co-creation

چکیده
This report from the field provides reflection on author’s experience of co-authoring a peer-reviewed manuscript with community partners for publication in an academic journal. The reflects existential, logistical, and process-related challenges applying community-based research delivering its promise knowledge co-creation while grappling inequities imbedded realities non-academic life. Reflecting lessons learned, this paper probes into further considerations operationalization ethical principles equitable collaboration research.
